Frequently Asked Questions
What is the fee per session?
Sessions are 50 minutes, and the fee is $165.
Do you accept insurance?
I do not accept insurance at this time. However, if you have out-of-network benefits, I’m happy to provide a receipt (superbill) that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
If you’d like to explore this option, you can contact your insurance provider to learn more about your out-of-network coverage. I’ll provide any documentation they require.
What is your cancellation policy?
I kindly ask for 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged the full session fee.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes! I offer virtual sessions and would be happy to talk with you about whether online therapy is a good fit for you.
What is EMDR?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process difficult or overwhelming experiences in a new way. By using gentle, guided bilateral stimulation, EMDR supports the brain’s natural healing process so memories and emotions feel less distressing over time. Many people find it helpful for trauma, anxiety, and experiences that still feel “stuck.”
